Turns out Game of Thrones and Downton Abbey actress Rose Leslie loves a good genre picture. She helped slay supernatural entities with Vin Diesel in The Last Witch Hunter. She was a terrorized newlywed in Honeymoon. She’ll be going the science-fiction-thriller route with Morgan this fall, and now she’s signed on for the gothic ghost story Haunted from director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later, Intacto). The movie will be “loosely based” on the book Turn of the Screw by Henry James, and Leslie will play a woman who goes to work for a wealthy family in their home, and starts suspecting that the children of the house are possessed. Alfre Woodard will also appear in the movie, which has a script from The Conjuring writers Chad and Carey Hayes.
