Tiffany ‘New York’ Pollard Is Both the Most Emotional Fan and the Host of a New Gay Dating Show

After unsuccessfully finding lasting romance on Flavor of Love and two seasons of I Love New York, Tiffany “New York” Pollard will play host as multiple Prince Charmings compete for each other’s love on The Ex. New York is the emotionally invested, if slightly distracted, Machiavelli, or, in her terms “the original HBIC,” while a pair of gay exes compete to find a new partner among a pool of the same men. Plenty of Bachelor-style shenanigans take place with dates involving skinny-dipping, sunset kisses, and falling kisses, but, based on the trailer, it would seem that the real journey we’re on is watching New York live her best life. Here she not only finds the perfect opportunity to spot shlongs, spin tales of picnic-table sex, and sing the praises of her boobs, but she also can find something deeper. The most romantic sentiment in the clip, “You are my rock,” is said not by one fella to another, but instead by New York to all of the contestants. New York stammers through her own tears to one dry-faced dude, “Don’t cry, please don’t cry.”  We’re not New York, but we love that you are.
