Taylor Swift, who still has that Nashville number, took some time out of her busy schedule of not working on an album to show up to jury duty in Nashville today. Of course, the news comes after a major music awards show where people talked about Taylor in her absence, but let’s keep to the central issue. This is about a stalwart defender of the values of Taymerica. Thanks to some very enthusiastic fans on Twitter, we have photo evidence of Taylor doing her civic duty: talking to fans, smiling, signing autographs, taking selfies, and probably making a strong case for stricter state and federal wiretapping law.
