Larry Wilmore Thanks His Fans and His Haters in His Farewell on The Nightly Show

In an abrupt move just months before the presidential election, Comedy Central canceled The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore, giving the show just one week to say its farewells. After expressing some surprise over the cancellation, Wilmore kept it cool on his final show, where he was joined by a scruffy Jon Stewart, who reminded him that cancellation isn't equivalent to failure. In his final monologue, Wilmore thanked his fans and his haters, and reminded everyone what the mission of the show was: "To see the world in a way that may not make everybody comfortable and to present it with a cast of people who don't always get to have a voice on that." Farewell, The Nightly Show.
