Skrillex is taking a quick break from dropping the bass to release his debut short film, Still in the Cage. Executive-produced by Skrillex, the film was written and directed by Jodeb and scored by Wiwek’s The Free and Rebellious EP, on which Skrillex collaborated. Still in the Cage had its premiere on Wednesday at the Theatre at Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles. According to Pitchfork, the full short film, set in Bangkok, has just been released, and it depicts a group of marginalized friends who escape the city for a settlement along a jungle river.
