A&E just added a new reality series about an 11-year-old standup comedian. According to Variety, the network has ordered ten episodes of Little Funny, which follows young standup Saffron “Saffy” Herndon as she hones her craft with help from comedians like Chris Rock, Wanda Sykes, George Lopez, Iliza Shlesinger, Tom Papa, and Ellen DeGeneres, who also serves as an executive producer on the show. Despite her young age, Herndon has been performing at standup clubs for the past three years. “It’s crazy that Saffy is telling such hilarious jokes at 11 years old,” said DeGeneres. “When I was 11, I was telling knock-knock jokes.
