Anne Heche Was So Committed to Throwing Real Punches Filming Catfight That Her Hand ‘Exploded’

In Catfight, a frenemy action film, Anne Heche and Sandra Oh play two old college friends who’ve grown apart over the years. When they run into each other at a party in New York, it doesn’t take long for pleasantries to fade into a bloody mess (which spawns two subsequent and equally savage battles). We met with Heche and Oh at the Toronto Film Festival and learned how Heche’s hand “exploded” while trying to throw a punch.
