FXX’s Next ‘Simpsons’ Marathon Runs from Thanksgiving Day Through December 6th

In November, FXX will break the record it set in 2014 for the longest-running marathon in TV history when it airs another marathon of The Simpsons. The network announced today that it will air all 27 seasons of The Simpsons in chronological order from Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 24th) at 12:00pm through Wednesday, December 6th at midnight – 600 episodes, 300 hours, 13 days. “The first Every. Simpsons. Ever. Marathon was truly so special and landmark in its cultural relevance and impact,” FX exec Chuck Saftler said on the news. “The unprecedented feat of reaching 600 episodes deserves something of that caliber to mark it and celebrate it. Doing this is an act of true fandom, honoring Jim Brooks, Matt Groening, Al Jean, all the writers, artists, directors, people behind the scenes and the ridiculously talented voice actors who have brought this series to life and kept it at the pinnacle of artistic excellence these past 27+ seasons.”
