HBO Delivers High Maintenance a Second Season

And so the Guy bikes on. Less than two weeks after its series premiere, HBO has renewed High Maintenance for a second season. “The response to the new episodes exceeded all of our expectations,” HBO programming president Casey Bloys said in the network’s statement. “Ben [Sinclair] and Katja [Blichfeld] are brilliant, unconventional storytellers and we’re excited to see what they dream up for us in our second season.” No word on whether the show’s second season will also have a six-episode order, but, either way, High Maintenance creators Blichfeld and Sinclair better get started now. It’s going to take them a few millennia to feature every New Yorker waiting for weed.
