For Kate Beckinsale’s characters, age ain’t nothing but a number. The actress will go from wooing her daughter’s suitor in Love & Friendship to winning the heart of her boyfriend and his son, a recent college graduate, in the upcoming Marc Webb–directed The Only Living Boy in New York, reports THR. The film centers around the relationship that springs up between the son (Callum Turner) and his father’s mistress (Beckinsale), who wants to stay involved in the family life. The movie is named after a Paul Simon song, which seems fitting given Simon & Garfunkel’s history when it comes to movies about graduates starting inappropriate relationships with older women. The film also stars Jeff Bridges and Kiersey Clemons.
