LeBron James and Bill Lawrence are teaming up for a new comedy series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC has given a script commitment to a show produced by James and Lawrence called There Goes the Neighborhood. The single-cam comedy will follow “the first white family to move into a predominantly black, newly gentrified neighborhood in Cleveland.” Neil Goldman, Garrett Donovan (Scrubs, Community), and Ron Funches will write and co-executive produce alongside Lawrence, who is also behind another show in development at NBC called Spaced Out.
