Following the casting announcements of Ewan McGregor and Carrie Coon, FX just unveiled another new addition to season three of its acclaimed show Fargo. According to Variety, residents of the frozen north will welcome Mary Elizabeth Winstead in the role of Nikki Swango, who is described as “a crafty and alluring recent parolee with a passion for competitive bridge playing.” She also likes staying “at least one move ahead of her opponents.” Don’t we all? This will be Winstead’s second recent series-regular role. Her CBS political comedy, BrainDead, concluded its first-season run on September 11.
