Monty Python member Terry Jones has been diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia, a form of dementia that impedes his ability to understand language, his spokesman told the BBC. Jones's diagnosis was made public after Bafta Cymru announced it would honor the Welsh comedian with a lifetime achievement award for his work with Monty Python, as well as his subsequent career as a popular TV historian. Though Jones will not give any interviews to celebrate the award, his spokesman said he was still "looking forward to the celebrations."
