The verdict is in: The Emmys love The People v. O.J. Simpson! The show won so many Emmys, taking nine in total, including laurels for Outstanding Limited Series and acting wins for Sarah Paulson (who thanked a tearful Marcia Clark during her acceptance speech), Courtney B. Vance, and Sterling K. Brown. The FX limited series was a critical hit, coming into the ceremonies with 22 nominations (second only to Game of Thrones) and four wins already under its belt from the Creative Arts Emmys.
