The Trailer for Jonathan Demme’s Justin Timberlake and The Tennessee Kids Begs the Question: Is This Timberlake’s Stop Making Sense?

Justin Timberlake was bound to get his own concert film sooner or later  four massively successful studio albums can do that to a man but he truly outdid himself by recruiting Jonathan Demme to direct the film for Netflix, as opposed to, uh ... these little critters. Justin Timberlake and The Tennessee Kids chronicles the final two days of Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience World Tour in Las Vegas, which Demme has described as a “space-age music film” that may or may not include Timby in a big suit. (Nice brief shadow sequence, though.) It’ll be released on the streaming service on October 12.
