In a mystery that can only be solved with an obsessive attention to minute details, Sherlock actress Amanda Abbington had her purse stolen while she was onstage at the Emmys Sunday night. As Abbington explained on Twitter, her purse, which contained her driver’s license and phone, disappeared from under her seat when she was celebrating the best television movie win for Sherlock: The Abominable Bride. “Whoever took my purse, I hope some terrible Karmic shit happens to you,” she wrote. Clues are scarce, but a source says the suspect is a short, left-handed man who walks with a limp, smokes cigars, and has spent time in India.
