Hillary Clinton has gotten a lot of flak recently for saying that a large proportion of Trump’s supporters fit into “the basket of deplorables… The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic — you name it.” The heart of the controversy being Clinton’s labeling 40 percent of Americans as “deplorable.” Trevor Noah sees it differently. He told Stephen Colbert, on last night’s Late Show, that he thinks Clinton’s mistake was putting people in a basket. Once you group anything in a basket, it’s offensive — except for puppies. Puppies in a basket are just adorable.
