Kelsey Grammer is developing a new comedy at ABC. According to Deadline, the network is developing a half-hour comedy produced by Grammer, which follows a military veteran “who returns home only to be greeted by a mountain of debt and a depressed job market. He has no choice but to move his family in with his widowed mother, an opinionated conservative who is perpetually outraged about their changing neighborhood demographics.” The project is written by Haunted Hathaways creator Robert Peacock, who has also written for Mad About You, Reba, and Blue Collar TV.
