Here’s a clip from Andy Daly’s appearance on last night’s Conan, where he lets cowboy poet Dalton Wilcox read a poem called “A Dangerous Life” from his book You Must Buy Your Wife At Least As Much Jewelry As You Buy Your Horse and Other Poems and Observations Humorous and Otherwise from the Life on the Range. “This is a true work of cowboy poetry from, really, the greatest collector and chronicler of the wit and wisdom of the West who lives,” Wilcox says. “That’s me.”
