Get Out Trailer: The Dark Side of Jordan Peele Comes Out in His New Horror Film

For a certain set of Key & Peele fans, a dream is about to come true in the form of Jordan Peele’s directorial debut, Get Out. More specifically, we are finally getting a feature-length horror project from the comedy duo’s darker half. On their sketch-comedy show, Peele and his partner, Keegan-Michael Key, often took their jokes into twisted territory. There were startling slow builds, like the suicide pact at the end of “LMFAO’s Non-Stop Party,” or the murderous rivalry between two aerobicizers in “Aerobics Meltdown.” But then, sometimes, they just went flat-out scary, like with “Make-A-Wish” and “Baby Forest,” both of which featured surprisingly haunting turns from Peele as demonic child characters. This is all to say that the guy’s got some demons rattling around in his brain, and he’s exorcising a few of them in this very creepy trailer for Get Out, which follows a guy (Daniel Kaluuya) taking a road trip with his girl (Allison Williams) to meet her parents for the first time (Bradley Whitford and Catherine Keener), and the damn disturbing and racially charged way that things spiral out of control as he gets to know them. Important questions include: What is Caleb Landry Jones doing in those hospital scrubs? Who is Allison Williams pointing that gun at?? And what is going on in this GIF?!
