Solange Knowles Dropped Two New Music Videos From A Seat at the Table

After releasing her first album in four years, A Seat at the Table, last Friday, Solange Knowles unveiled the music videos for two of the songs on Sunday night. The visuals, which were co-directed by Knowles and her husband, Alan Ferguson, feature the singer’s stunning aesthetics and style while tackling themes of race and identity. According to Saint Heron, the videos are “a musical representation of the spirit within an unapologetically Black woman who is not interested in remaining silent in a critical time of identity, empowerment, grief, healing and self-expression – let alone, artistic expression.” Watch the video to “Don’t Touch My Hair,” above, and “Cranes in the Sky,” below.
