According to stuntman Steve De Castro, not only did Tom Sizemore hit him with a car while filming USA Network’s upcoming political drama Shooter, but the actor was also allegedly drunk when the accident occurred. Deadline reports that De Castro filed a lawsuit yesterday against Sizemore, Viacom, and Paramount over the incident, which happened on July 6 at Agua Dolce Airpark outside of Los Angeles. De Castro is suing for "assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, and battery," claiming the accident was "proximately caused by the intoxication" of the Saving Private Ryan actor, as Sizemore knew he would be operating a vehicle on set. USA's adaptation of the Stephen Hunter book Point of Impact, which was also adapted into a 2007 Antoine Fuqua thriller, is currently scheduled to premiere on November 15.
