Watch Cubs Fan Eddie Vedder Sing ‘Take Me Out to the Ball Game’ at the World Series

With the World Series having shifted to Chicago for games three, four, and five over the weekend, Cubs celebrity superfans took turns belting out the traditional “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” during the seventh-inning stretch. Though Bill Murray and Vince Vaughn both gave rousing renditions, only Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder was able to deliver the good luck necessary for the Cubs to win at their home field. Vedder, who was born in Evanston, Illinois, dedicated the song to retiring catcher David Ross, who joined the Chicago team in 2014, after a dozen years as a professional player for the Red Sox, Dodgers, Reds, and Pirates.
