The Shins have sent you a humongous bearded skeleton-man to bid you a fine All Hallows Eve in the new video for their new song, “Dead Alive.” Singer James Mercer offered the video as “a Halloween gift while you wait for the album,” which is tentatively scheduled for release early next year; the band’s last album Port of Marrow was released in 2012. If you had to compare classic Shins to their new songs, “Dead Alive” will definitely still help you win the heart of that mopey boy you love, only this time, said boy will be gigantic and made only of bones.
