Wendi McLendon-Covey will be joining an ABC hotel-comedy project based on her own experiences. According to Deadline, McLendon-Covey used to work at “a crappy hotel near Disneyland,” but now The Goldbergs star will be co-creating and co-writing the single-camera comedy. The show will tentatively be titled Hospitality, and she’ll be working with The McCarthys creator Brian Gallivan. The comedy will follow three women as they band together against a terrible new boss. McLendon-Covey and Gallivan will executive-produce with Happy Madison’s Doug Robinson.
