ABC is bringing back ‘70s game show The Gong Show with some help from Will Arnett. The network announced today that it’s ordered ten episodes of a Gong Show revival with Arnett attached as a co-executive producer. Every episode will feature a revolving panel of guest judges and “celebrate un-traditionally talented, unique performers plucked from the Internet and put on a primetime stage.” A premiere date for the revival has not yet been announced.
The original Gong Show aired from 1976-1980 and has been rebooted several times, including on Comedy Central with the short-lived The Gong Show with Dave Attell in 2008.
