Marvel’s Black Panther, otherwise known as Ryan Coogler’s Palace of Beautiful and Talented People, has a new cast member. The comics giant just announced that Angela Bassett will join the cast as Ramonda, the mother of T’Challa, who is more commonly known to the general population as Black Panther. Bassett will now presumably be taken to the yurt of the chosen where she will hang out with co-stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, and Florence Kasumba as they all prepare to shoot the best movie in the MCU. Get here now, February 2018.
