Broken Lizard’s Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme have a new hourlong special airing on Comedy Central tonight. Today the network announced Below the Belt with Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme, an hourlong mix of standup, storytelling, and trivia that will air tonight at midnight. In Below the Belt with Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme, the Broken Lizard veterans bring fans onstage to quiz them about their movies, including Super Troopers and Beerfest, and then describe the time they went on a bender while in Australia to promote a movie. Heffernan’s stand-up set addresses topics ranging from his young son’s bathroom habits to what it’s like being married to a gynecologist. Then Lemme takes his turn riffing on the bizarre activity his wife and her friends like to do and explains why he never wants his son to be a teenager. Throughout, the two old friends entertain a packed house at Denver Comedy Works with their raunchy humor and hilarious anecdotes about fatherhood and Hollywood.
Prior to Below the Belt, Comedy Central will air Super Troopers at 10:00pm.
