In case you were wondering how Chad Michael Murray made it through 2016 mentally and emotionally intact, the answer is “born aloft on a bed of smoldering looks, midnight rendezvous and, of course, forbidden trysts.” According to Us, the One Tree Hill star co-authored a romance-thriller with Heather Graham. (No, not that one. A different one.) Entitled American Drifter, the book, which is of course based on a dream Chad Michael Murray once had, follows the story of an “American soldier backpacking through Rio de Janeiro.” You’ll have to wait until November 7, 2017 to read it, but in the meantime you can go ahead and assume with some certainty that American Drifter is probably much, much sexier than the drifter you had a torrid affair with.
