Comedy Central is set to launch its first festival. Deadline reports that the network has teamed up with Superfly (the company behind Bonnaroo and Outside Lands) to launch its very first festival, which will take place next summer in San Francisco. The event will feature standup, sketch, podcasts, music, food, and Comedy Central stars and take place over the course of a three-day weekend. Comedy Central has sponsored festivals in the past like the New York Comedy Festival, but next year’s event in San Francisco will mark their first official festival.
