It was only a matter of time before Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone turned their continuous onscreen romance into a full-blown musical. At last, the moment has arrived with La La Land. You’ve seen the trailers, swooned until it hurt, and heard a snippet of Gosling crooning his way into Stone’s heart. Well, brace yourselves, because the film’s standout duet “City of Stars” has arrived in full to put a tear and, er, a twinkle in your eye. Get swept up in their big-city dreams, giggle when Emma giggles, and remember that as your heart swells with every note, it’ll likely explode by the time these two inevitably perform it at the Oscars.
