Now that we know J.K. Rowling has come up with enough plot to fuel five Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movies, we can expect years’ worth of casting news to go along with them. Deadline is reporting today that Johnny Depp will be joining the Beasts universe starting with a brief appearance in the first movie (out November 18) and an expanded role in the immediate sequel. His role is undisclosed, but he will be joining star Eddie Redmayne and director David Yates, who will be returning to helm the second Fantastic installment.
