Showtime's seductive period-drama Masters of Sex has been canceled by the network and will not be getting a fifth season, Deadline reports. The show, which starred Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan as pioneering sexuality researchers William Masters and Virginia Johnson, ended its fourth season earlier this month, with the season finale now serving as the series finale. Showtime has yet to comment on the cancellation, although Deadline claims that the network felt the finale which ended with Bill and Virginia marrying  was a "fitting conclusion to the duo's complicated story." You can now fill the void with other master-centric programming, such as Master of None.
