“The only president who can complain about the theater is Abraham Lincoln,” Stephen Colbert declares, before launching into “Donald Trump,” the titular number in the imagined Hamilton-esque musical Trump. Maybe a show about himself will resolve the president-elect’s ongoing feud with the Great White Way? And with lines like “Back to make America great / Hannity? Truckasaurus? Who wants Secretary of State?,” maybe Trump will get some new cabinet suggestions. After all, Truckasaurus has a ton of relevant experience, plus with any luck, he’ll just crush everyone with his giant tires and metal jaws. It’s a win-win.
