If you’re the kind of person who loves TV but wishes it was only about Taylor Swift, then we have some good news: AT&T has announced a brand-new channel, called Taylor Swift NOW!, that will run 24/7 as part of its new streaming service DirecTV Now. DirecTV, which AT&T acquired as part of its overall deal with Time Warner, is pushing hard into the streaming market and is hoping unique offerings like nonstop T-Swift content will help boost its profile. The channel, which will be previewing over the next few weeks via social media, is set to broadcast an array of Swiftian offerings, from never-before-seen concerts, to special events, to behind-the-scenes footage and “glimpses into Taylor’s life spanning her entire career.” Taylor Swift NOW! joins the recently announced Hello Sunshine, a female-focused channel headed up by Reese Witherspoon, in AT&T’s play for streaming success. Pretty soon you’ll be able to spend as much time working on your Swift obsession as she spends, well, working.
