Watching the Trailer for Leah Remini’s Scientology Docuseries Will Probably Get You Labeled a Supressive Person, But It’s Worth It

Almost exactly a year after the release of Leah Remini’s memoir Troublemaker, in which the King of Queens actress chronicled her family’s experience with the Church of Scientology and their subsequent decision to leave in 2013, Entertainment Tonight unveiled the trailer for the new A&E docuseries Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath. In the eight-part series, which premieres November 29, Remini interviews former Scientology members about their tumultuous lives within the church, which allegedly included abuse from Scientology’s leader David Miscavige himself, as well as the dire consequences they’ve faced after escaping. Remini also shares her own struggle with the church, though it’s not clear as of yet if she digs deep into how she ruined Tom Cruise’s wedding by talking to J.Lo.
