Get a round of shots ready at the Alibi, we’re back in business! It appears Emmy Rossum has ended her salary dispute with Shameless on a high; the actress tweeted the good news on Wednesday, insinuating that she won the hard fight for fair pay and is ready to get “back to work in May.” Rossum had been publicly requesting to be paid more than her co-star William H. Macy — whom she also congratulated for the SAG nomination he received today for his work on the show — to recoup years of unequal pay. Judging from her announcement, it seems the holdup on the show’s season eight renewal has also been resolved along with her contract negotiations. (Macy had reportedly already re-signed with a raise, and supported Rossum’s fight.) Because you can jail them, put them in a coma, or send them to rehab, but you can’t keep the Gallaghers down for too long.
