Like it or not, this year’s Oscars is going to be so full of pranks, and also Matt Damon jokes. Jimmy Kimmel has signed on to host the ceremony, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The ceremony will air on ABC, Kimmel’s home network, on February 26. It’ll be Kimmel’s first time hosting the Oscars, though he has hosted the Emmys twice before, in 2012 and earlier this year. Chris Rock most recently hosted the event, which is surely going to add some sort of “mean tweets about the sound-mixing nominees” segment this time around.
