From Ta-Nehisi Coates’s acclaimed Black Panther run to R.L. Stine’s upcoming series, Marvel Comics has been making a number of cool, interesting hires. Latest on the list: Method Man. The rapper has penned a Christmas-themed Ghost Rider comic fittingly called Ghost Rider X-mas Special. The title is a perfect fit for Method Man, who is such a certified fanboy that he’s gone by Ghost Rider alias Johnny Blaze in the past. In his story, Robby Reyes, the man currently under the flaming helmet, goes up against Krampus to save Christmas. Marvel editor-in-chief Axel Alonso told Complex that the story continues “the conversation between hip-hop and Marvel.” Ghost Rider X-mas Special, co-written and illustrated by Anthony Piper, is already on sale digitally, just in time to start a new holiday tradition.
