The Justice League solo movie Aquaman has found its Ocean Master. According to Deadline, Patrick Wilson will join the DC film universe as Aquaman’s half-brother, a supervillain known as Orm Marius when he’s not going by the considerably more powerful Ocean Master handle, and who is one of the title character’s greatest foes. The sibling rivalry stems from the fact that both Marius and Aquaman seek dominion over Atlantis, but since Marius is a bad man, that’s a very bad thing. This movie has a pretty high start value, considering it stars Jason Momoa as a guy who spends a lot of time in the sea, which means it presumably has a lot of shirtless Jason Momoa. So, Aquaman would be appointment viewing even if it were a silent movie with no story — but fortunately, it won’t be either of these things. Now we’ve got a villain and everything. And shirtless Jason Momoa. October 5, 2018, is going to be a good day.
