The Brooklyn millennials are going to be all right: TBS has announced that it has picked up Search Party, the stealth favorite TV show of 2016, for a second season. The show stars Alia Shawkat as Dory, an amateur detective obsessed with a college acquaintance’s disappearance, along with a band of narcissistic friends. Will they be able to avert their gaze from their navels long enough to focus on reality in the ten-episode second season? Probably not! TBS has also ordered a second season of the Wyatt Cenac–led ensemble comedy, People of Earth, about a support group for people who have supposedly had alien encounters. We’re all just living our truths, aren’t we?
