Carly Rae Jepsen and Blood Orange Serve ’80s Corporate-Chic Flash Mob in His ‘Better Than Me’ Video

One truly egregious oversight of 2015 was that Carly Rae Jepsen and Blood Orange never made a video for their John Hughes homage “All That.” They got to play it together on SNL, sure, but it’s not the same. We all deserved to witness them slow dance on a loop forever. Over a year later, we finally have justice — sort of. The two have reunited for a video for Blood Orange’s soft-sung “Better Than Me,” on which Jepsen provides the faintest whisper of vocals. Just as she’s a quiet force on the song, Carly is the video’s near-silent hero. Watch as she offers her critical eye to Blood Orange’s ‘80s corporate-chic flash mob, giving pensive stares so long and deep, she’s practically frozen in time. Is she a ghost from that era sent to haunt this abandoned office and all who dare to hold dance rehearsals in it? If she is, she’s the most well-dressed ghost you’ll ever claim to have seen.
