Joe Pera returns to Adult Swim this week with another relaxing special called Joe Pera Helps You Find the Perfect Christmas Tree, and to promote the special, he appeared on a Detroit local news show yesterday to share some of his Christmas tree expertise. Things go well enough until the news anchor admits to Pera that she uses an artificial Christmas tree: “I guess it’s forgivable if you have an allergy,” he says. “No, I don’t have an allergy.” “Oh. Um, I guess, uh, maybe next year then.”
