When each and every frothing Star Wars fan sees Rogue One this weekend, they can do so knowing that one Mr. Mark Hamill, also known as Luke Skywalker, also known as Jedi Master, approves of the way they’re spending their time. Hamill saw the film tonight and tweeted out his enthusiasms:

The events of Rogue One take place before 1977’s Episode IV: A New Hope, which was the first Star Wars film and Hamill’s Skywalker debut. In A New Hope, our hero is able to destroy the Death Star more or less only because he has access to the massive ship’s blueprints; the seizing of said blueprints is the plot upon which Rogue One pivots. So, Hamill’s obviously a little biased because, duh, these people are pretty much his adventure guarantors … we mean, his character’s adventure guarantors. Yeah. Anyway, guys, Mark Hamill really liked Rogue One. Or put another way: Approval, granted it is.
