Almost four months after the cast reunited for a special election episode, it’s now official: Will & Grace is returning to NBC with new episodes (whether you think it’s a good idea or not). NBC revealed the news at TCA today, announcing that a 10-episode revival is officially a go featuring the original creators and stars. “We’re thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest and most defining comedies in NBC history is coming back,” NBC exec Robert Greenblatt said on the news. “This groundbreaking series for everything from gay rights to social and political commentary — all disguised as a high-speed train of witty pop culture — is coming back where it belongs.” The new season is slated to debut sometime in the 2017-2018 season.
