Alex Trebek Raps Along to Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Kendrick Lamar in a Super Fly Round of Jeopardy!

For $200 imaginary dollars: Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek gamely spat rhymes written by famous rappers during the show’s current collegiate tournament. Answer (in the form of a question): What is pure joy? Correct! On Monday night’s episode of the long-running game show, Trebek delighted viewers as he attempted to rap lyrics by Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, and Desiigner for a category titled Let’s Rap, Kids! Unfortunately not all of the college-aged contestants were as knowledgeable in contemporary music as Trebek. After rapping the lyrics to Lil Wayne’s “6 Foot 7 Foot,” which included the line “I am the commissioner, you don’t want to start Weezy,” one contestant incorrectly guessed, “Who is Kanye West?” But, to be fair, Trebek’s reading of that song wasn’t quite as passionate as his take on Desiigner’s “Panda.” Watch the clips above and below.
