Chris Gethard’s hit off-Broadway show produced by Judd Apatow, Career Suicide, is getting the HBO treatment. The network announced today that Gethard will tape a performance of Career Suicide in New York this month that will be turned into an HBO comedy special set to air sometime in May. The show originally debuted back in October and wrapped up its off-Broadway run last month. “I’m so excited that the entire world will be able to see Chris’ one-man show,” Apatow said on the news. “And then, whenever he walks into a room, people will look at him funny.”
