Seth Meyers Takes ‘A Closer Look’ at White House Leaks and Trump Whining About the Press

Here’s a clip from last night’s Late Night, where Seth Meyers takes “A Closer Look” at Trump’s agenda ahead of his first address to Congress tonight. As Meyers notes, so far Trump has spent way more time publicly attacking the press than actually doing his job – to the point where even former president George W. Bush is going on TV to defend the media – and between pulling out of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, constantly trying to delegitimize the news, and ordering his press secretary Sean Spicer to crack down on all the leakers, the odds of tonight’s big address being one of substance rather than pure whining seem pretty slim. “So Spicer tried to crack down on leaks by holding a meeting about leaks warning people not to leak about the meeting about the leaks, and then his warning about the leaks was leaked to the media,” Meyers says. “It’s like they’re trying to bail out a sinking rowboat with a spaghetti strainer.”
