With America’s court system landing in the spotlight a lot lately, it’s perhaps no surprise that the public’s interest in the American Civil Liberties Union has also grown in the past few months. Among the people who think the ACLU might need more money to fight for Americans’ rights in long, expensive court battles in coming years are funny celebrities willing to do a telethon. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey, and Tom Hanks are set to headline the Facebook Live fundraising effort on March 31. Other celebrities set to appear on “Stand for Rights: A Benefit for the ACLU” include Amy Poehler, Tracy Morgan, Jon Hamm, Zosia Mamet, Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowski, Uzo Aduba, and Josh Charles. The event starts at 7 p.m. ET.
