If jokes about poop, farts, and waxing your butt hole aren’t going to bring this great nation together, well, they probably aren’t going to push everyone farther apart, now are they? Early today, Hulu announced the ten-episode straight-to-series pickup of I Love You, America starring Sarah Silverman. The weekly half-hour show will reportedly explore the “current political/emotional landscape of the country,” and center on Silverman’s attempts to “connect with people who may not agree with her personal opinions through honesty, humor, genuine interest in others, and not taking herself too seriously.” Adam McKay, Will Ferrell, and Funny or Die will produce; a motley crew of America’s least Sarah Silverman–like citizens will ostensibly co-star. Trump-loving Alaskan ice-road trucker who’s more of a Pete Holmes guy, now it’s your time to shine.
